How to water the fragrant wood

How to water

When watering, generally follow the principle of not watering unless the soil is dry. If you do water, make sure to water thoroughly to avoid keeping the soil moist for a long time and avoid water accumulation in the pot. When watering, you cannot stop watering when you see the surface is wet. In most cases, if watering is continued for more than ten seconds, water will seep from the bottom of the pot, which means that the pot has been watered thoroughly.

The fragrant wood has many branches and leaves, so the water evaporates very quickly, especially in summer, so you need to increase the amount of watering, but you still have to wait until the soil is dry. The fragrant wood does not need to be watered too often. Generally, watering it once every three days is appropriate. If you find that its growth is sluggish, you can immediately replenish water to ensure the plant's growth needs.

Other matters

The growth of fragrant wood cannot be separated from light. Fragrant wood needs to absorb light every day, but it should be avoided from exposure to strong sunlight. You should also spray a certain amount of water mist around it to lower the surrounding temperature. You can usually place the fragrant wood in a location with better indoor lighting to ensure its normal growth.

In winter, the temperature is low and the evaporation of water vapor decreases. At this time, you should reduce the watering of the fragrant wood to avoid excessive water, which will cause the roots of the fragrant wood to rot. In winter, the fragrant wood should be placed in a place with suitable temperature. The temperature should not be too low. If it is too low, it will easily affect the wintering of the fragrant wood. Generally, normal room temperature can meet the winter growth conditions.
