How to water Mo Lan

How to water Mo Lan

How to water

Usually when growing Mo Orchid indoors, the air flow is slower and the evaporation of water will be reduced accordingly, so just water it in moderation. We need to keep the soil in a semi-dry state and water it once every 10 days or so at most. When watering, make sure the soil is completely moistened. When you see a small amount of water seeping out from the bottom of the pot, you can stop watering. While watering, you can also wipe the leaves with water, which can make the leaves look more shiny.

Precautions

Potted Mo Lan likes to grow in a humid environment. When watering, avoid water accumulation in the pot to prevent root rot. When watering, be careful not to pour water from the center of the Mo Lan, as this will cause its heart to rot. Water it once a day in summer.

Watering method

The most important thing when watering is to avoid overwatering, which will prevent the plant from growing properly. Usually when we water the plants, we have a habit of watering them directly from the top of the plants. This is very bad. Water flowing into the center of the Mo Lan will hinder the breathing of the new buds, thus causing the plants to rot. The normal watering method is to pour water along the edge of the pot to the surface of the soil so as not to affect the growth of the Mo Lan.

Generally in summer and autumn, the surface of the leaves of Mo Lan should be kept dry in the evening. In spring and winter, it is best to water it in the morning and spray water around it with a sprayer, which is conducive to better growth of Mo Lan.
