Watering

Compared with other plants, Qingli is a succulent that is easier to grow. You don't need to be so regular when watering. Generally, when the soil is almost dry, we can water it thoroughly. Qingli is very drought-resistant, so we don’t need to deliberately maintain soil moisture. Because it can store water in its leaves. If there is too much water in summer, the bottom of the Qingli will easily rot. We should choose soil with good drainage, generally granular soil, which can ensure air permeability and avoid water accumulation.

In the hot summer, the Qingli plant needs to be shielded from strong sunlight, especially at noon when it is the hottest. After that, you can add additional light at any time, which will make the green leaves appear a little red, making it look more beautiful. Qingli can also grow in an environment with weak light and will not grow too tall, but the center of the leaves will still turn white, which indicates that there is insufficient light and the amount of light needs to be increased.

In summer, when the ambient temperature exceeds 30 degrees, Qingli needs to be shaded and watering reduced. In winter, if the temperature is below 5 degrees, you should also reduce the amount of water and place it in a warmer place indoors as much as possible to ensure its normal growth.
