The beautiful and easy-to-grow fairy fingers can be grown in large numbers in just a few simple steps!

1. Cutting

If you use cuttings to propagate the fairy finger, you can do it 365 days a year, but it is best to choose spring and autumn every year. When choosing cuttings, you should choose ones that are not too tender, but also not too old. Just choose the strongest one among the plants as the cutting. After selecting the cuttings, cut off about three sections and place them in a cool place to dry for a few days. When the cutting position is slightly dry and water-lost, you can insert it into the prepared planting soil. When planting, do not water it immediately. First, control the water slightly and keep the surrounding air temperature at around 23 degrees Celsius. You will find roots growing in a few days. Once the roots have grown, you can water slowly and in small amounts. Generally, you can see the cactus blooming in the second year after cuttings.

2. Grafting

If you want to graft the cactus finger, you must first choose a good rootstock, usually a cactus. For scion, choose stem nodes that are not too long but healthy and strong. When grafting, it is best to choose spring and autumn every year, just like cuttings. Find a better day to graft. First, you need to remove the thorns on the top of the cactus, then make a longitudinal cut of about two centimeters on the top, then process the bottom section of the scion and insert it into the cut to fix it. After grafting, place it in a cool place to dry. Do not water within seven days after grafting. After seven days, you can follow the normal cultivation methods. If cared for properly, it will generally bloom in the same year.

The above are the propagation methods of the fairy finger. Both methods are not particularly difficult to operate. If you like this plant, you can try it.
