Breeding methods and precautions of Tengu Dance

one. temperature

This plant likes to grow in cold and cool seasons, especially in autumn and winter, where it grows particularly fast. For example, from September every year to June of the following year. If it is in summer, due to the high temperature in summer, this plant will go into dormancy and will not recover until autumn. And it can withstand temperatures as low as minus 2 degrees without being harmed. So in fact, this plant will adjust its own growth nodes according to the temperature, and there is no need to worry too much about temperature issues when cultivating it.

two. Moisture

This plant prefers a relatively dry environment and is very afraid of stagnant water and moisture. Therefore, during its growth period, you just need to keep the soil moist, and try to avoid waterlogging. In winter, you can cut off its water supply. If the temperature is too low, even less than 5 degrees, you should start cutting off water. When the temperature is higher in the summer, its growth will be slower or even stop completely. What we need to do at this time is to give it water in moderation, and be careful not to let it be exposed to rain for a long time, otherwise the plant may rot.

three. soil

Because this plant is afraid of stagnant water, the soil in which it grows must be well-breathable and hydrophobic so that water can be drained smoothly to avoid rotting of the plant due to accumulation. So how do you prepare the soil? You can prepare some cinders, peat, perlite, and small stones, and mix the cinders with peat and perlite. The best ratio is 5:4:1. After planting, you can lay a layer of small stones on the surface of the flowerpot, which is both beautiful and breathable.

Four. illumination

Although this plant prefers an environment with considerable light, it is dormant when the light is strongest in the summer, so it needs to be properly shaded and not exposed to the sun. It also needs to be placed in a well-ventilated environment.

five. Precautions

1 Although it is cold-resistant, its resistance to temperatures of minus 2 degrees Celsius refers to indoor temperatures, not outdoor temperatures. If the temperature drops further, it will be frostbitten, or even dry up and die, so it is best to place it indoors in winter.

2 The soil must be breathable.

3. Provide shade when exposed to sunlight.
