1. The habit of this plant

Because it is a tropical tree species, it has relatively high requirements for temperature and humidity. Its cold resistance is not very good. If it encounters low temperatures of five to eight degrees in winter, it may be injured, so we must pay attention. Then there is light. It likes light and cannot tolerate shade. There are also some requirements for soil, which we will mention later. Finally, it also has quite a few requirements for fertilizer.

2. Specific methods

(1) Temperature: We need to make different adjustments according to the region. If you are in the southern part of South China, Guangdong Province and its surrounding areas, you can generally spend the winter safely. If it is a particularly cold year, there may be frost damage, so you will need to take appropriate anti-cold measures. If it is in the northern part of South China, including North China, then we need to move it indoors or into a greenhouse in winter.

(2) Try to let the potted plant receive as much light as possible. There is no need to take shade measures at noon because it is not afraid of the scorching sun.

(3) Soil: It prefers slightly acidic soil, either sandy soil or heavy clay soil.

(4) Fertilizer: When planting, we can mix some cake fertilizer (well-rotted) into the potting soil as base fertilizer. In addition, when the plant is growing rapidly and when it is about to bloom, we need to apply some fertilizer containing more N elements. In this way, it will have lush branches and leaves, and the quality and quantity of its flowers will be good. During the peak flowering period, top dressing is needed, and various elements are needed.
