How to plant Veronica seeds

How to plant Veronica seeds

1. Prepare the environment for seedling cultivation

First, we can prepare a wooden box in the greenhouse with a moderate depth, and then put the soil needed for sowing in it. Remember to make the soil as loose as possible and have a certain degree of fertility. It is best to use garden soil, leaf mold, etc. After that, sterilize them with high temperature and then put them in a cool place to dry.

2. Sowing

We scatter the prepared seeds in a wooden box. Because the seeds need light to germinate, we just cover them with a thin layer of vermiculite after planting. Do not cover them with a very thick substrate, otherwise it will be difficult for them to break through the soil. In addition, the substrate must be kept moist, not exposed to strong light, and properly shaded. The temperature should be controlled between 28 and 24 degrees. Generally, they will begin to germinate in a week to half a month.

3. Post-sowing maintenance

1. Transplantation

When the seedlings grow to a certain height, we will transplant them separately. When transplanting, pay attention to the distance between the plants to promote root growth and plant development. You must pay attention to taking care of it after transplanting and not leave it alone.

2. Temperature

After the seedlings grow out, we must ensure that the temperature is suitable. Usually the daytime temperature is between 12 and 18 degrees, and the night temperature is best between 10 and 13 degrees. If you are growing outdoors, you should cover the plants in time in winter to prevent frostbite.

3. Moisture

Pay attention to watering in time and do not let the soil dry out.
