Cut a string of beads and throw them into the soil, they will grow into a green curtain

Strings of Buddhist beads look like curtains, and they are really beautiful when hung at home. If you want to turn one pot of Buddhist beads into many pots, you have to learn from Huahua to do this!

1. Cut the beads

Cut off the green and healthy branches of the Buddhist beads, usually 5-7 beads in a string. It is important to note that each section must have a root knot in order to survive, which is a small bulge.

2. Cut off 2 more beads

Then cut off the two beads at one end of each string of Buddhist beads, leaving a longer stem that can be buried deep in the soil. Place the branches in a ventilated and cool place to dry the wounds.

3. Soil preparation

Using perlite or river sand as soil can improve water permeability and air permeability and prevent rot.

4. Insert branches into the soil

Insert the branches into the soil, and bury them deeper to prevent the branches from growing longer and heavier and pulling out the Buddhist beads. Finally, water it thoroughly and place it under diffuse light. Water when the soil is dry, and it will generally take 7-15 days for the roots to grow.

5. With this maintenance, it will grow into a green curtain

Spring is relatively dry, so you can spray water around the beads every day, or you can spray some diluted potassium dihydrogen phosphate every month to make the beads grow rounder and fuller. Hang it in the living room, and relatives and friends will definitely be envious when they see it!

Break off a leaf and throw it into the soil, and it will fill the pot with it.

Flower lovers will feel sad if they accidentally knock off the leaves of fleshy plants. In fact, there is no need to feel sad. Just throw a leaf into the soil and it will take root and sprout. You can grow 100 pots of plants without any problem! Let’s see how Huahua is made!

1. Choose healthy leaves

Choose healthy and plump leaves, and try not to choose unhealthy leaves such as yellowing, diseases and insect pests. Not only will the survival rate be low, but it will also infect other leaves. Place the wound in a cool, ventilated place to dry.

2. Soil preparation

The soil for leaf cuttings can be vermiculite or river sand, which has good air permeability, to avoid root rot. Then use a watering can to spray the soil surface to keep it moist.

3. Insert the leaves obliquely into the soil

First find a small wooden stick and poke a small hole in the soil. Then place the dried wound leaves diagonally into the small hole, gently cover them with soil, and place them under scattered light.

4. Rooting after 15 days

Generally after 15 days, large white roots will grow on the leaves. Keep the soil moist and spray water on the soil surface frequently. After rooting, the light intensity can be appropriately increased.

5. After 30 days, side buds will appear

After 30 days, side buds will grow on the succulent, and the new buds will grow bigger and bigger. Avoid direct sunlight and water only when the soil is dry. Let the old leaves slowly wither and fall off on their own. Do not pick them off with your hands to avoid damaging new shoots and roots.

Cut a branch and throw it into the water, and big white roots will pop out.

If you want to turn one pot of succulents into 100 pots, there is an easier way, which is to throw them into water to induce roots. It is both hygienic and efficient. Come and see how to do it!

1. Cut off strong branches

Choose strong and plump branches of succulents, cut them and place them in a well-ventilated place to let the wounds dry first.

2. Soak in sugar water to promote rooting

First, melt sugar and hot water in a ratio of 1:10. After the sugar water has cooled completely, put the succulent branches into the sugar water. Soak for 20 minutes, then take out, rinse with clean water, and then dry the wound.

3. Put it in clean water

Find a clean bottle, pour 2/3 of clean water into it, and then put the succulent branches into the water. Place it in a place with diffuse light and good ventilation.

4. It will take root in 1-2 weeks

After about 1-2 weeks, you will see big white roots growing on the succulent.

5. Transplant into the soil

When the roots grow to 2 cm, take out the water at the roots and let it dry a little, and then you can put it in the pot! This hydroponic method can greatly improve the rooting rate.
