How to grow cactus quickly

1. Flowerpots and soil

Try to choose flower pots with good air permeability, such as ceramic pots, purple clay pots, etc. If you use a plastic pot, try to choose a substrate with larger particles. The soil must also be breathable, well-drained and contain nutrients. Potassium phosphate and other fertilizers can be used as base fertilizers, which will make the plants grow faster. After about two to three years, the soil will become lumpy and needs to be replaced.

2. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

With the help of nutrient solution, it will grow faster. In addition to ordinary nutrient solution, you can also use a kind of "root-strengthening water". It is also similar to a fertilizer, but it mainly targets the roots and helps the roots grow.

3. Scientific watering

The general principle is “don’t water unless the soil is dry” to meet the requirements. Specifically, there are differences in each season. In spring, it is about once every half a month; in summer, it is once a week; in autumn, it is about once every twenty days. Can be watered with rainwater.

4. Adequate lighting

Light has a great influence on its growth rate. Except when the temperature is above 36 degrees and it needs to be shaded, try to expose it to more light at other times.

5. Suitable temperature

The optimum temperature is around 20 degrees, not too high or too low. The temperature difference should also be controlled and not too large.

6. Adjust humidity

At night, increase the humidity to facilitate the plant's absorption of carbon dioxide. During the day, the humidity should be lowered to prevent a decrease in transpiration.

7. Prevent pests and diseases

Prevention is the key. The main diseases include "anthracnose" and the main insect pests include "scale insects" and so on. Controlling moisture and timely ventilation are the main methods of prevention.
