How to plant pepper trees

1. Site selection

Pepper trees are more afraid of stagnant water, so choose soil with strong drainage. It is best not to choose airtight and heavy soil for planting.

2. Afforestation

If you are in an area severely affected by wind damage, you should plant trees for protection. It must play a role in preventing wind and cold, and be beneficial to the growth of pepper trees.

3. Digging a hole

The deeper the hole is, the deeper the roots will grow, and deep roots are less susceptible to drought. When digging a hole, separate the topsoil from the subsoil and clean away debris such as stones or tree roots. Then expose the planting hole to the sun and apply enough base fertilizer.

4. Planting

It is best to plant pepper trees in cool, rainy weather, but it can also be done on a sunny evening. If it rains too heavily, planting cannot be carried out, and the distance between plants should not be too close. After planting, backfill the soil and fill the planting hole, water it sufficiently, and don't let it be exposed to direct sunlight.
