How to plant sweet potatoes in pots after they sprout

1. Water-grown sweet potato potted plants

Wash the sprouted sweet potatoes in water, then add about half a bottle of water into the vase, put the washed sweet potatoes into the vase and fix them. Make sure that half of the sweet potatoes are immersed in water and half are exposed to the air. After about 4 to 5 days, the sweet potato seedlings will begin to grow rapidly, and after a few days they will basically form water-grown potted plants. After about 2 to 3 weeks, the growth of the sweet potato seedlings will get better and better. When the sweet potato vines are long, they should be pruned appropriately, and pay attention to changing the water every 1 or 2 weeks.

2. Soil-grown sweet potato potted plants

Cut off the sprouted part of the sweet potato and plant it in a flowerpot with prepared soil in advance. Then pour enough water in the flowerpot and place it in a cool, sunny place. After a few days, you can carry out normal maintenance. Water the soil frequently to keep the soil moist, and expose the sweet potato to the sun regularly. Adequate light will promote its healthy growth.
