Using water as a substrate to propagate green plants is the most effective method, and rooting is also the fastest. Any plant absorbs water all the time. It can grow without soil, but water is indispensable. Rooting in water cuttings is at least 10 days faster than in soil cuttings.

Cuttings are a commonly used propagation method for hibiscus. Generally, the best time for hibiscus cuttings is in spring, specifically from March to April.
