What are the cultivation methods and precautions for roses?

Rose cultivation method

Rose belongs to the Rosaceae family. Its reproduction methods include grafting, sowing, cuttings and division.

1. Lighting

When the rose is growing, it needs sufficient sunlight to allow it to grow well, but when the light is strong, it needs appropriate shade.

2. Temperature

For roses, the most suitable growth temperature is between 19-20 degrees. At night, the temperature should be maintained between 10-15 degrees. In winter, the temperature cannot be lower than 5 degrees.

3. Soil

When planting roses, loose, fertile and well-drained soil is generally used, which is more conducive to its growth.

4. Watering

Roses need to be watered in moderation. Generally, you have to wait until the soil is relatively dry before watering. Do not allow water to accumulate, otherwise it will lead to poor growth.

5. Fertilization

Roses need to be properly fertilized during their growth. Generally, some cake fertilizer is applied. During the growth period, some thin liquid fertilizer can be applied, so that it can have sufficient nutrients for growth.

6. Pruning

When the new shoots of roses grow to 15-20 cm, you need to cut off 3 cm of the top. This will encourage the germination of side buds. When the side branches grow to a certain length, they need to be pinched.

Matters Needing Attention in Rose Breeding

When growing roses, you need to pay attention to the fact that they should have sufficient sunlight at normal times so that they can grow well. In summer, they need appropriate shade, and in winter it is best to move them indoors for maintenance.
