How to grow potted green radish

The green ivy is a shade-loving plant that cannot tolerate direct sunlight. It is suitable for maintenance under scattered light. It is drought-resistant and can survive when exposed to water. It is also relatively easy to maintain, whether it is potted or grown in water by breaking off a few stems.

1. Lighting

The green ivy likes sunlight to be evenly sprinkled on the leaves, and does not like the scorching heat of strong sunlight. Therefore, when the light is strong in summer, it needs to be shaded. It can be placed one meter away from the windowsill so that it can feel the warmth brought by the sun without being exposed to strong sunlight.

2. Temperature

Chlorophytum likes a warm, humid, semi-shady environment, so the temperature should not be too low. Generally, it is best to keep the maintenance temperature above 18 degrees, but the temperature should not be too high, otherwise it will die due to drought.

3. Watering

Potted green radish can be watered once in the afternoon in summer, and watered again in winter when the soil gradually dries up. If it is aquatic, the water can be changed every three days.

4. Fertilization

Potted green radish does not need to be fertilized in spring and summer, and only needs sufficient water. However, its growth will slow down in autumn, so some appropriate fertilizer can be applied before winter so that it can survive the winter better.

5. Pruning

Potted green ivy can be pruned in spring. Do not move the large branches when pruning. Just cut off the excess branches. Yellow and dead leaves should also be cut off. This can reduce the loss of nutrients and improve the ornamental value.

Precautions for potted green radish cultivation

Potted green radish cannot tolerate low temperature environment. The room temperature should be above 10 degrees. Water it in time during the growth period. Do not wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering. When the air is dry and the temperature is high, you should spray the leaves frequently, but avoid water accumulation in the pot.
