Generally, when cultivating black beans, you need to soak them in clean water for 24 hours first, and then put them in a glass bottle and wait for them to germinate. When the black beans germinate, they will gradually swell when they encounter water. Its cotyledons will first break through the seed coat. In about 3 to 5 days, the radicle of the black bean will grow out of the cracks, and then will grow longer and longer.

Generally, after about 10 days of maintenance, the cotyledons of black beans will gradually separate from the seed coat, and then true leaves will slowly grow, and its root system will become stronger and stronger. At this time, the black beans can be used for cooking. Generally, you can take them out and rinse them with clean water before cooking.

Black beans are generally more suitable for planting in the spring of each year, approximately between March and April. After planting, they will generally germinate and emerge from the soil after about 120 days of maintenance, and they will be able to sprout after about four months.

The sprouts of black beans generally have yellow heads and white roots. Its roots are generally about two to three centimeters long. Its size is similar to that of soybean sprouts, but the outer bean skin is black.
