For camellia, the most suitable growth temperature is between 18-25 degrees. During flowering, the temperature needs to be kept between 10-20 degrees. If the temperature is higher than 35 degrees, it will burn the leaves.

Camellia develops throughout the year. Its growing season is in spring and summer, when the temperature and climate are most suitable for its growth. After the growing season, it will enter the bud and fruit development period, which is approximately from May to the end of October. Finally, it enters the flowering period, which is also relatively long.

Camellia planting time and method

When planting camellia, it is usually chosen to be planted in September, but it can also be planted in spring. It is generally propagated by cuttings. Loose, fertile and well-drained soil is required for planting, and a moist growing environment is required during maintenance.
