Water spinach seed planting

The growth process of water spinach seeds is relatively short and grows fast. It mainly goes through the stages of germination, seedling raising, thinning, fertilization, and harvesting. Generally, water spinach likes a warm environment and is suitable for sowing in spring and autumn. The best planting time is April in spring, and it must be harvested before the frost falls. The specific planting method is as follows:

1. Environmental requirements: Water spinach has a wide adaptability to soil, but prefers heavy, fertile, and organic-rich soil. It likes high temperature and high humidity environment and is resistant to high temperatures. The best growth temperature is 25-30 degrees.

2. Sowing: The seeds of water spinach are very thick, so it is difficult for them to germinate if sown directly, which affects the planting cycle. During the rainy season, the seeds may rot. Therefore, the seeds need to be soaked in warm water for 15-30 minutes in advance, stirred during soaking, and then soaked in clean water for a day. Place them in an environment of 25 degrees to germinate, and they can be sown after they turn white.

3. Field management: During the growth period of water spinach, it needs to be watered in time to keep the soil moist. In addition, it is a fertilizer-loving plant. In addition to applying sufficient base fertilizer during planting, it also needs timely topdressing. Although water spinach can be planted densely, it should not be overly crowded, otherwise the ventilation and light transmittance will be poor and it may rot.
