Can black beans be grown in the soil?

Can black beans be planted in the soil?

Black beans must be planted in the soil. The soil contains the nutrients needed for plant growth. The soil must be kept moist so that the beans will germinate.

When planting black beans with soil, you can choose fertile and loose fields as the planting base, and deep plow and expose them to the sun to kill the bacteria and weeds. Then evenly sow the full-grain black bean seeds in the soil. After waiting for the seeds to germinate, you can provide the black beans with sufficient sunlight and spray them with sterilization agents regularly to allow the plants to grow healthily.

Black beans are not very strict about soil conditions. Acidic soils with a pH below 6 often lack molybdenum, which is not conducive to the reproduction and development of rhizobia. Soils with a pH above 7.5 often lack iron and manganese, affecting chlorophyll synthesis.

Black bean soil cultivation method

1. Sowing method

Before sowing black beans, in order to increase the germination rate of seeds, you can select black bean seeds with full grains, soak them for germination, and wait for the seeds to turn white. Then you can take them out, sow them in the soil in holes, and cover them with fine soil.

2. Provide light

During cultivation, black beans can be provided with natural light around the clock so that the plants can carry out photosynthesis normally.

3. Disease prevention and control

In the process of cultivating black beans, measures need to be taken to prevent and control diseases. First, quicklime and other bactericidal powders need to be buried in the soil to eliminate bacteria in the soil. Regular inspections can also be carried out to eradicate diseased black bean plants in a timely manner.
