2. Pruning: When the branches on the plant grow long, they should be pruned according to the situation. Generally, you only need to cut off the overly long parts to reduce nutrient consumption.

3. Thinning: The yew tree grows vigorously, so dense, crossed, and overlapping branches need to be thinned out to increase ventilation and light transmission of the plant, which is conducive to fruiting.

4. Pruning: Before winter, the weak, dead and diseased branches of yew trees need to be pruned off, otherwise it will affect the normal growth of the plant and make it difficult to survive the winter.

The yew tree needs to remove the branches that are not growing well, retain the branches and leaves that are growing healthily, and prune away the dense branches, diseased branches, old branches, overgrown branches or crossed branches to reduce nutrient consumption.
