How to sow Elodea seeds

1. Add about 10 cm of water to the entire pond, cut the Elodea into 15 cm sections with scissors, then tie 15 small strips together, and then plant them in bundles 3 cm horizontally and 2 cm vertically.

2. Add water after planting. Add 35-40 cm deep water to the pond. The water should not be too deep above the Elodea, but should be able to carry out photosynthesis effectively to promote its growth.

3. Fertilization: After planting, as long as there are no shrimps in the shrimp pond, you can apply some farmyard manure and compound fertilizer to promote the rapid growth of Elodea. Note that too much fertilizer is not good for the growth of Elodea.

4. Daily management: After planting, top dressing should be done in time to ensure the healthy growth of Elodea. Another thing is to deepen the water level in time and pruned the Elodea that is about to grow out of the water to prevent it from dying during flowering.

This will provide rapid nutrition to the Elodea and promote its normal growth. If it is an old pond, generally only superphosphate is needed, 2 pounds per mu.
