Where the yellow bark tree is planted

Huangpi is not very demanding on soil quality and environmental conditions, but if you are more concerned about economic benefits, you should choose soil with deep, loose soil, rich organic matter, and good drainage and irrigation.

Kumquat prefers a warm climate, and the most suitable climate for planting is when the annual average temperature is above 20℃. It is cultivated in southern my country, among which the more famous ones are Jiangxi, Fujian and Taiwan. The kumquat fruits grown in these three places are large and plump, and taste delicious.

Huangpi tree planting conditions

Yellow-skinned fruit trees like warm weather. When we plant them, the temperature should be kept above 22 degrees, and the temperature in winter should be above 11 degrees. If the temperature is below zero, the fruit trees will be frostbitten. Therefore, yellow-skinned fruits are not suitable for planting in the Northeast.

Key points for planting and management of yellow bark trees

1. Water management:

Because kumquat is an evergreen fruit tree, it requires a humid environment and sufficient water. It grows well in areas with an annual rainfall of more than 1,500 mm and evenly distributed rainfall. Excessive water or concentrated rainfall is not conducive to the growth, development, flowering and fruiting of kumquat.

2. Lighting management:

With sufficient light, the branches and leaves inside the crown can absorb scattered light for photosynthesis, expand the photosynthetic area, enhance the accumulation of nutrients in the tree, expand the fruit-bearing area, and improve the quality and yield of the fruit. If there is insufficient light, it will affect the photosynthesis and nutrient accumulation of the plant, which is not conducive to the growth and development of the plant.
