Can soybeans be hydroponically cultivated? Hydroponics cultivation methods and precautions

Can soybeans be grown hydroponically?

Soybean sprouts grown hydroponically are also edible. Some of the bean sprouts sold on the market are grown hydroponically. They have a relatively high edible value and can be directly fried and eaten. Not only do they taste good, but they also have high nutritional value and can be eaten with confidence.

Soybean hydroponic culture method

1. Select soybeans

Before hydroponically cultivating soybeans, you should first select beans with full grains and remove the bad beans that will affect the germination rate. After selecting, put them in warm water and soak them for half a day. Then pour out all the warm water. Soaking in warm water can promote better water absorption in the later stage.

2. Carry out hydroponics

Before hydroponics, you need to choose a container. The size should be determined according to the number of soybeans. A paper towel should be placed in the container. Then, the soybeans should be placed on the paper towel and covered with another paper towel. After processing, move it to a ventilated and warm place. Add water according to the amount of water, and it will germinate. After germination, water it frequently to keep it at a certain humidity, because the growth rate will be faster when the humidity is suitable.

3. Harvest in time

After the hydroponic soybeans grow into seedlings, they must be harvested in time. Usually, they can be harvested when the seedlings grow to five or six centimeters in height. The taste will be better at this time.

Precautions for growing soybeans in water

1. When growing hydroponic soybeans, you must pay attention to changing the water, otherwise the roots will rot. So just make sure there is water in the container, but don't let the water cover the beans.

2. When choosing soybeans, be sure to wash your hands first, and do not touch greasy things or soap after absorption.

3. You should first soak the soybeans in warm water or use boiling water at 80 degrees Celsius to blanch the soybeans so that they can absorb enough water, and then put the soybeans into the container.
