1. Temperature

Huangpi fruit likes a warm and humid climate, grows in areas with a suitable temperature above 20℃, and an average annual rainfall of 1200mm. It grows better in areas with relatively even rainfall distribution. The suitable temperature in winter should be kept above 11 degrees, because when the temperature is below zero, Huangpi fruit will be at risk of frostbite, so Huangpi fruit is not suitable for planting in the north.

2. Soil

The soil requirements for kumquat are not high, but different soil types will have a certain impact on its lifespan and yield. It is best to plant it in sandy soil with good drainage, fertile soil and appropriate amount of lime. If it is planted in poor soil, poor drainage or clay soil with accumulation of water, it will lead to problems such as low kumquat yield and short tree life.
