Places suitable for growing pineapples

Pineapple Planting Conditions

1. Temperature conditions: Pineapples are more suitable for growing in an environment with an annual average temperature of 23 degrees. They grow slowly in an environment of 10-12 degrees. If the temperature is below 10 degrees, they will stop growing and the fruit will also stop developing.

2. Planting rainfall: Pineapple generally has no requirements for rainfall and is relatively drought-resistant. It can grow and develop normally in tropical rainforest areas with annual rainfall of 510 mm to 5540 mm.

3. Sunlight management: Pineapple has a very high demand for light. Under sufficient light conditions, photosynthesis is vigorous, the plant grows relatively strong, and the yield is high. If there is insufficient light, it will lead to slow growth and small fruits.

Pineapple growing environment

Pineapples prefer a warm, well-lit and well-ventilated growing environment. They generally grow in places with loose soil. During maintenance, the temperature needs to be kept between 15-35 degrees and there must be sufficient light environment, which is more conducive to flowering and fruiting.

Pineapple Planting Methods

1. Site selection and land preparation: Before planting pineapples, the soil needs to be plowed 30-40 cm. This is more conducive to the growth of the root system. Then apply sufficient base fertilizer. You can use decomposed chicken manure or compound fertilizer.

2. Seed treatment: When planting pineapples, you need to take the seeds out of the ripe fruits, then soak them in warm water, disinfect them after they have absorbed enough water, and then place them in an environment of 28 degrees to germinate.

3. Planting: When planting pineapples, they need to be evenly scattered in the soil and covered with 2-3 cm of soil. It is a fertilizer-loving plant, so top dressing should be done regularly.
