Panax notoginseng is a perennial upright herb, which is generally distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Sichuan and other regions. The root of Panax notoginseng can be used as medicine, which has significant effects of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is one of the more precious traditional Chinese medicines.

Potted Panax notoginseng planting method

1. Watering

After sowing, the seedlings of potted Panax notoginseng will not emerge until March or April each year. During this period, it needs to be watered manually. The general method is to use a sprinkler to irrigate until water can flow on the surface of the bed. Generally, 2 to 3 times a month is enough.

2. Lighting

Panax notoginseng has a relatively high light requirement. Generally, the light transmittance required for one- or two-year-old Panax notoginseng is a little lower, usually around 10%. However, three-year-old Panax notoginseng requires a stronger light transmittance, generally around 15%. In order to increase the root weight of a single plant, this can be achieved by adjusting the light transmittance of the shade shed.

During the maintenance process, Panax notoginseng requires a relatively moist soil environment and appropriate light, because Panax notoginseng has relatively high requirements for light. Therefore, if you want to grow Panax notoginseng well, you must pay attention to the conditions required for its growth. During the maintenance process, you must observe Panax notoginseng at any time. If it lacks water, you must water it in time, and if it lacks fertilizer, you must supplement it with fertilizer in time.
