How to make Tiger Pilan grow more small buds (How to treat Tiger Pilan to grow side buds)

Tiger Pilan is a plant that loves to give birth. If the environment is suitable, Tiger Pilan is very easy to sprout.

In spring, autumn and early winter, it often grows many side buds, and a whole pot of plant can be filled with them in less than half a year.

But if the Sansevieria at home does not sprout small buds or side buds for a long time, there must be something wrong.

First, planting method:

When planting tiger skin orchid, it is best to use a larger flower pot, as tiger skin orchid grows very fast. A large flower pot with more soil is conducive to the extension of the root system, which can absorb nutrients and water more effectively.

When planting, it is recommended to use mixed soil, which is 1/3 of farmland soil + humus soil + freshwater river sand. The bottom of the flowerpot can be pre-buried with base fertilizer. Only in the later stage can nutrients be continuously output to promote the growth of Sansevieria.

Second, more light:

Tiger Pilan has good shade tolerance, and many flower lovers like to keep it indoors. Indoors, the time for Tiger Pilan to carry out effective photosynthesis is very short, so the growth rate of Tiger Pilan indoors is very slow.

Spring and autumn are the time when Sansevieria grows the fastest. In these two seasons, the Sansevieria can be moved outdoors so that it can receive better light and small buds will grow quickly.

Third, fertilization:

Tiger Piranha does not have a strong ability to absorb nutrients, so it is recommended to use organic fertilizer with long-lasting fertilizer effect. Bury the "fermented sheep manure organic fertilizer" in the shallow soil layer by loosening the soil once a month.

During the vigorous growing season in spring and autumn, adding fermented rice water to supplement nutrients once a month will enable small sprouts to grow quickly.

Fourth, water control:

The method of controlling water to force buds is more difficult to master, but it is also a good method to force buds. In spring and autumn, supplement nutrients to the tiger skin orchid to make it strong.

Then we can extend the daily watering time, the tiger skin orchid absorbs enough nutrients, and there is a sense of crisis of water loss, and it will immediately start reproductive growth. After controlling the water several times, many small buds will grow.

Fifth, pruning:

If the tiger skin plant at home is growing strong but does not grow side buds, then we can choose to fertilize the tiger skin plant in spring and autumn to accumulate nutrients. Then cut off most of the old leaves of the plant, leaving 3 to 4 leaves for photosynthesis.

The absorption of nutrients is sufficient, but the number of growing leaves is reduced, the balance between absorption and consumption is broken, and small buds will grow immediately.
