Dragon fruit planting profit

The weight of a single pitaya is between 350 and 1,000 grams, and the yield per acre can reach 5,000 kilograms. Calculated based on the market purchase price of about 4 to 8 yuan, planting one acre of pitaya can generate an income of about 20,000 to 30,000 yuan, with a profit of about 5,000 to 12,000 yuan.

How to plant dragon fruit

1. Land

Pitaya does not have high requirements for land, and most land can be used to grow pitaya, but the yield will be higher if you choose to grow pitaya in slightly acidic land with good drainage.

2. Lighting

Dragon fruit likes light, so its growing environment should be kept sunny as much as possible, so that the fruit will grow large and taste sweet. At the same time, although dragon fruit is heat-resistant, it is also afraid of low temperatures, so the most suitable growth temperature for dragon fruit should be ensured, which should be around 27°C on average.
