1. Seed selection:

When planting garlic, first select fuller garlic cloves as good seeds for potted garlic. However, it should be noted that when peeling the garlic cloves, the outermost layer of garlic skin should be peeled off, leaving only the transparent film inside.

2. Planting pot soil:

Garlic does not have high requirements for potting soil. Just find a container of suitable size, prepare some soil, and then sow the processed garlic cloves. You can also buy some nutrient soil, which is very helpful for the healthy growth of garlic.

3. Planting method:

When planting garlic in a potted plant, make sure the pointed end is facing upwards and the garlic cloves are about 5 cm apart. After all the garlic cloves are planted, cover them with a thin layer of soil and pour enough water to ensure the soil is moist.

You need to wait until the garlic seedlings grow out of the soil before fertilizing. Otherwise, the roots will be burned due to excessive nutrition. In addition, the amount of watering should be reduced during fertilization. Excessive watering will easily cause root rot in the garlic pot.
