Cultivation methods and precautions of Tia succulent

The plants of Tia are compact and full. Although they are not large, they can easily grow in groups. Of course, the main reason is that Tia's color is fiery red in autumn and winter, which is particularly bright and beautiful.

Tia succulent is relatively easy to grow. If well maintained, its leaves will turn red from the edges until the entire leaf turns red. Note that Tia's leaf edges will only appear a beautiful red color under sufficient light.

How to grow Tia succulent

1. Soil

When growing Tia succulent, you need to use loose, breathable, nutrient-rich soil. With good air permeability, the plant can better absorb the nutrients and grow more vigorously. Young seedlings can be planted with half granular soil and half nutrient soil. If you want to control the shape of the large seedlings, you can use more granular soil, with the granular soil accounting for more than 60%.

2. Outdoor cultivation

Tia succulent prefers a ventilated and breathable environment. Never place it in a poorly ventilated indoor environment. This will reduce the plant's resistance and make it prone to diseases and pests, not to mention coloring.

3. Lighting

Tia succulent is very light-loving and relatively sun-resistant. When growing it, you can expose it to more sunlight as long as it is not a hot summer. If there is insufficient light, Tia will quickly start to grow tall.

Tia succulent care precautions

When caring for Tia succulent, you must pay attention to controlling the moisture. Just make sure the soil is slightly moist, but the soil must not be too dry. You also need to pay attention to controlling the amount of nitrogen fertilizer. Excessive absorption of nitrogen fertilizer will cause excessive growth.
