Growing directions
Plant container-grown specimens in well-drained, slightly acidic, fertile potting mix in full sun to partial shade after last frost; million bells (superbells) are trailing, mounding hybrids derived from South American Calibrachoa species that produce thousands of tiny, one-inch, petunia-like flowers throughout the growing season in virtually every color — from pure white through yellow, pink, coral, red, purple, magenta, and bicolor combinations. They are among the top-selling container annuals in the US for their continuous bloom, compact trailing habit, and resistance to flopping and deadheading requirements (they are self-cleaning). Require consistently moist, well-fertilized growing media — plants in containers quickly exhaust the available nutrients and benefit from weekly liquid fertilizer at half-strength during active growth. Excellent in hanging baskets, window boxes, and as trailers over container edges.
